A few weeks ago I was scouring birthday presents in Festival Walk , when I noticed that Microplanet had disappeared.  So had the shop selling fuzzy dolls. =(

Meanwhile, in another shopping centre, Grand Century Plaza, a large Optimus Prime has been erected as advertisement for the movie.

And finally, some sightings of various anime-related items in the Mong Kok/Yaumatei area.  A set of Chi’s Sweet Home figurines for 50 HKD.

And a possibly limited edition, expensive yet highly coveted ad ergonomic mousepad.

Meanwhile, I went to Sogo today and used one of my 100 dollar coupons to buy this!

It had  Lucky Star on the front, I couldn’t resist.  And it came with a Kagami figurine.  Tiny, but still, a Kagami figurine, lazing about on a beanbag, reading and munching away.

For those of you who are interested, a tiny of her panchira are visible, and they are a clean shade of white.  And thats about it.   Hong Kong Book Fair 2009 starts tomorrow!
