First the bad english

notice

I saw that as I was heading off to tutoring in Hang Hang, TKO.  When I attempted to return home back to Lok Fu, this happened:

Some manic decided that Sunday afternoon would be a nice time to attempt suicide and jump onto an empty railroad track.  Notice how the damn thing indicates that Kwun Tong is the last stop, and that there is no service for the next two stations left (Ngau Tau Kok, Kowloon Bay).  Here is a snippet of the English bit the announcement that they made.  I don’t know why its a whopping 800 KB, since the actual recording off my mobile was like 56 KB.

approximate transcipt, theres a lot of noise: “Your attention please.  Train service has stopped between the stations on the Kwun Tong Line at Kwun Tong and Choi Hung because Someone is on the track.  Please accept our apologies.  For further information, please (something something).”

So I got off, took a look at the throngs of people waiting for Buses, and decided to walk the 3 stations to the other end of the mess.  By the time I got to Kowloon Bay station, where more people were waiting for buses:

Three ambulances and at least 2 firetrucks, for one person on the track??

There was a stationary train outside the station too:

40 minutes, and 3.6 KM later, I reached Choi Hung 😀

Then I got on the train back home and had KFC for lunch.  The End.
